Who we are
SumpaLabs ("SumpaLabs", "we", "us" or "our") is a technology studio based in Dallas, Texas, providing software development, data engineering and machine learning services to the Oil & Gas and Finance sectors, and operating the Formulaml and FormulaDB products. This policy covers sumpalabs.com and the ways we collect information through it — it does not cover Formulaml or FormulaDB, which are governed by their own policies.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Contact form submissions. When you use the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message, along with any other details you choose to include.
- Email list subscriptions. If you opt in to receive updates from us, we collect your email address (and name, if provided) to send you marketing and product communications.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers on this site. Our hosting provider processes standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to serve the site and protect it from abuse, as any web host does.
How we use your information
- To respond to messages submitted through the contact form.
- To send you email updates about SumpaLabs, our services, and Formulaml if you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by emailing us directly.
- To maintain the security and proper functioning of this site.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Third-party service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate this site and our email list:
- Web3Forms — processes contact form submissions and delivers them to our inbox. Web3Forms does not store submission content beyond what's needed to deliver it.
- Zoho Campaigns — manages our email subscriber list and sends marketing communications, including unsubscribe handling.
- Cloudflare — hosts and serves this site and provides standard network security.
Each of these providers processes data on our behalf and under their own privacy and security commitments.
Data retention
We retain contact form submissions and subscriber information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or for as long as you remain subscribed to our email list. You may request deletion at any time (see "Your choices" below).
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link included in every message. To access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, email us at [email protected] and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
